I just eat and eat and always feel hungry. I stuff my face until the point where I'm naucious.
Being obese isn't healthy in itself but I also suffer from chronic pancreatitis which being fat makes it swell up more frequently .
I just cant seem to control myself.
I have a very manual intensive job, pest control and construction , crawling through attics, repairing beams etc.
But I'll keep stopping to eat and even though i tell myself not today, I crave it so much I talk myself into it.
What can I do. Is there a way to surpress my apetite ? Its driving me crazy

2022.01.20 13:14 Head-League5184 Pc won’t start but has power
Ok so last night I was on my pc and accidentally touched my power supply’s wire. This prompted my pc to shut off. I have done this before but most of the time I can just turn my pc back on. However this time this is not the case. I try to turn my pc on but nothing happens. It’s clearly getting power because the light on my motherboard turns on when I plug the power supply wire in and my keyboard has its lights on. I have made sure that all the cables are properly in the power supply but I’m not sure what to do next. If it helps the name of my power supply is evga 750 gq. Please help!

2022.01.20 13:14 LeninKommander My idea for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (TASM 3)
Unlike most expectations for Andrew's third film, I couldn't imagine putting on the black suit for now. I know it would be a good time to wear it, from what Peter says in No Way Home about not holding his punches, but I think the timing of the film should be used to explore a much more psychological perspective on Spidey (not to mention that, the way I conceive it, the black suit could be addressed in the future and in more depth). The intent is to work on a mostly psychological story of the hero, involving the transition from guilt to forgiveness, with a Spider-Man still confused about which way he should handle crime fighting. The idea is to use Peter's grief and return to his universe after No Way Home to build up the overcoming of trauma, but this process would be discontinued after the emergence of a new threat. The film would also have the responsibility of closing the arc of Peter's parents (with the hero finally discovering the whole truth about the "accident") and making room for a new opportunity to explore the movie version of Andrew, along with the villains of the Sonyverse (who will be part of Andrew's universe). Below, I leave the core segment of what I would like to see in TASM 3, leaving aside the possible subplots that could be dealt with in the story, because I am not a screenwriter, just another fan who would like to see this franchise be touched with care and dedication.
The beginning would allude to the opening of the Spider-Man PS4 game with Peter in his apartment, highlighting newspaper headlines illustrating his battles over the nearly 10 years, with one headline highlighting a fight between Spider-Man and a group of villains, led by the Green Goblin, that left the city highly devastated.
We would see public opinion turn against Spider-Man due to his more violent attitude, as stated in No Way Home, with many calling him a murderer. Jameson's presence in the film would be interesting, but with little prominence, with only J.K. Simmons' characteristic angry narration in the background of some of Spider-Man's crime-fighting scenes.
Jefferson Davis, Miles' father, would be the new captain of the NYPD, encouraging an anti-Spider act. Aunt May would continue to work as a nurse, just as we saw in TASM 2. Harry would find himself in a state of insanity in a psychiatric institute due to being injected with the spider venom for so many years. Thus, he is unable to remember that Peter is Spider-Man. The hero would still be presented as an assistant researcher at an Oscorp headquarters, trying to keep an eye on their projects and looking for more information about the death of his parents (this situation would collaborate with what Peter says in No Way Home about not having time for "Peter Parker stuff" anymore, dedicating himself entirely, including at work, to contain possible Oscorp threats).
Peter, touched by the events of No Way Home, visits Harry after a long time, and tries to forgive him for what he did to Gwen. However, upon hearing the voice of his former friend, the villain would return to the realm of his mental faculties, including the memory of Spider-Man's secret identity, but too weakened to go after Peter on his own. The plan is for Harry to hire a Russian mercenary known as the Chameleon to play mind games with Peter, posing as Gwen, Uncle Ben, and even his parents (as a free adaptation of the comic book "Spider-Man: The Saga of Peter Parker's Parents"). Harry would blame the hero for his condition and wish to repay the damage done to him, but with the desire to leave Peter as mentally unbalanced as he himself was all those years before killing him.
In the meantime, Peter would be shown as a constant frequenter of a certain coffee shop in town, the same one where a beautiful red-headed waitress works, who lovingly serves Peter, but he absentmindedly never notices her. In fact, he would still be marked by Gwen's death, remembering moments at her side and visiting her grave whenever possible (the film would have an air of the "Spider-Man: Blue" comic book, essentially in Gwen's memories, referring to a melancholic atmosphere).
In his first meeting with the Chameleon, Harry would provide him with all the information about Peter, about the people he loves and those he has lost. Harry would explain his plan to the Chameleon, and the latter would comment that he knows the perfect executor for the task of hunting Spidey: a man who never loses his prey, but who is unfortunately too busy for the moment having fun with the jungle (a reference to the Chameleon's brother, Kraven). Harry knows he can't beat Spidey alone, at least not yet. That's where Gustav Fiers, the hidden presence from TASM and TASM 2, would come in to bring the group of villains defeated by Spider-Man together again in another event. Gustav, questioning Harry about what would be different this time, about what would make the group succeed in what previously did not work, would receive the answer: "Because this time we will strike at his heart" (referring to a dictum that his father, Norman, always told him about the business world).
I admit that the difficulty I have encountered involves how to make the Chameleon's mind game work. How to make the appearance of people Peter has already lost shake the hero's psychology? How to insert Peter's parents into the story? How to give relevance to a possible return of Gwen? This part must be worked with great care, so as not to risk seeming like an unnecessary plot, since it turns out to be the core of Peter's psychological breakdown. We could start with something subtle, such as Gwen appearing in a glance on a busy avenue and Peter trying at all costs to reach her. Afterwards, we could hear a questioning voice from Uncle Ben in some space of the coffee shop frequented by Peter, showing disgust and disappointment. Something like this could be done to Peter's father at some point, leaving him confused, shaken, and in need of answers about his past.
Peter, at one point, would discover that Norman was responsible for the death of his parents and the cover-up of his involvement (this discovery being in Harry's plans). Such an opportunity would be the perfect hook for the full appearance of the Chameleon under the guise of Peter's father (as well as the deleted scene from TASM 2), leaving Peter confused and unbelieving of what he would be seeing. His only refuge for the moment is Aunt May, who takes him in and tells him some touching story about Uncle Ben: a very well acted monologue by Sally Field's Aunt May that would convey the full dramatic charge of the teachings of Martin Sheen's Uncle Ben.
Peter's performance as Spider-Man is also sabotaged by the Chameleon: the villain disguises himself as the hero and commits crimes in his name, causing public opinion to go against him. Peter, upon witnessing a news report at Aunt May's house with live footage of the Chameleon as Spider-Man, quickly heads to the scene. With his tricks and the apparatus to impersonate the hero, the Chameleon proves to be a great fighter. The police, upon arriving on the scene, are confused, but are convinced of the threat Spider-Man poses. Surrendering the imposter Spider-Man, Peter questions him for answers, already almost losing his mind. Suddenly, Harry, as the Green Goblin, arrives on the scene, destroying vehicles and causing great astonishment to the hero. Peter tries to talk to Harry, but the villain quickly retreats and Peter chases after him, making room for the Chameleon to escape. An aerial battle between the Goblin and Spidey ensues.
However, it would only be a distraction by the Goblin so that Gustav Fiers can access the security of Ravencroft and free all the prisoners, causing a widespread prisoner escape. Fiers makes his way to Rino, Doctor Octopus, Vulture and Electro, giving him his equipment and asking for one last favor in exchange for the villains' freedom. Harry, with Peter clinging to his glider, takes the fight to Ravencroft, where the hero visualizes chaos ensuing. On the terrace, Peter continues battling with Harry until he suffers a coordinated attack between the villains, leaving him down in an image reminiscent of the Sinister Sixth's first encounter with Spider-Man in the PS4 game, with the Cameleon arriving on the scene in his true form and surprising Peter. Spidey is extremely weakened, fallen, as the villains yearn to kill him, but the Goblin denies it. After he says something intimate to Peter, the villains scatter and begin a scattered attack on the city. The police arrive at Ravencroft and bring order to the situation, finding Spider-Man weakened on the terrace. Jefferson orders Spider-Man arrested, but a broadcast begins on the institution's panels. The Sinister Sextet had stormed the hospital and captured Aunt May. There is no time to be wasted, the city needs Spider-Man. The hero argues with Jefferson about stopping the villains, and even though Jefferson wants to arrest Spidey at all costs, he recognizes that he is the best chance against the Sextet.
Furious, the hero would meet the villains on the Brooklyn Bridge. The Goblin would be with Aunt May as his hostage, while the villains would form a barricade on the bridge against the hero. Peter, extremely vengeful, would go full tilt at them, but, even with his strength unleashed, the hero would be no match for the villains, falling to the ground while being punched by Rino. In parallel, we see a live broadcast on TV about what happened in some house, with a young Miles witnessing everything from behind the door and his mother telling him, in Spanish, to close the door and stay in bed. The Goblin orders the hero's mask to be removed. His intention is for Aunt May to see that her nephew is Spider-Man, and that he is the one who failed to save her. Before either villain's hand is directed at the hero, we would see a compilation of flashbacks, phrases, and moments from those Peter loves, such as the final message from Uncle Ben's mailbox in TASM, or excerpts from Gwen's graduation speech in TASM 2, along with moments from No Way Home and the last conversation Peter had with Aunt May. The hero would realize that in order to win, he would need to get back to who he was before, as he could not be at an advantage by being bitter or vengeful. Quickly, Peter retreats with his web and again incorporates the personality of the Spidey he is no longer. He starts making jokes frequently and uses the villains' weaknesses against themselves. Harry would abandon Aunt May to join the fight, but Spidey would still have the upper hand. Peter quickly manages to save Aunt May and direct her to the end of the bridge, questioning if she would be okay. Spidey sense would kick in and Peter would deflect Tia May the moment the Goblin tried to hit her with the glider. Peter returns to the battle, with the other villains already defeated, and uses the rest of his strength to finish off the Goblin. However, while standing above the bridge, he would see Gwen once again, in yet another of the Chameleon's disguises. Surprisingly, the Goblin kills the Chameleon while standing as Gwen, appealing to the hero's memory. Peter shouts negatively while holding Gwen in his arms, even though he knows it was the Chameleon, leaving to go at Harry one last time. Laughing, the villain would state, "It seems the Osborns are destined to take the lives of everyone you love." At a chance to kill him, Peter realizes he is being filmed and thinks of all that Spider-Man means to the city. Killing the Goblin would also be killing the hero the city needs. With the necessary dramatic charge, Peter would group the villains together and Captain Jefferson would leave him free to go, providing a vote of confidence for the hero.
After these events, Aunt May would find herself debilitated by what had happened. Peter would visit her and, in a confirmation that she knows the identity of the hero, thank her nephew. Peter would cry. The hero pays one last visit to Gwen's grave, wistfully recounting the latest events. The hero would find himself ready to move on for the first time. Back at his usual coffee shop, Peter is waiting to be served while the red-haired waitress greets him: "Hi, tiger", while the hero, noting the last name printed on his apron, replies: "Hello, Miss Watson". The film closes with a beautiful web-swing sequence to oppose the film's opening, in which we saw Peter Parker instead of Spider-Man.
The first post-credits scene would feature Eddie Brock arriving in New York, talking to Venom and looking for Spider-Guy, setting the stage for Venom 3. The second post-credits scene would feature Kraven on the African savannah receiving mail directly from Harry Osborn, with a picture of his brother Chameleon in Spider-Man's arms and a fact sheet about the hero.

since I changed home, once that someone stops renewing home, another home starts, it's something costant, so costant that I'm worrying if there's not some business who is doing that on purpose to convice owners to sell off

Does anyone else struggle with/find it annoying when step child talks about their mum all the time? Obviously they’re doing nothing wrong and it’s just harmless comments (and annoying constant comparisons), ‘my mum this’ ‘oh at mums I have this’ ‘my mum said this the other day’ ‘mum done this really funny thing’ ‘my mums is better’ (that’s a common one!!!) but it’s tiring!!! Step son (10) seems to be talking about/mentioning his mum every ten minutes lately!! I don’t want to hear about her and what she does says thinks has…… I can’t really say anything though as he’s just a kid talking about his mum! Just venting!!!!!!!
